I will tell you all what means shortly. First, I apologize for not responding to the recent comments I've recieved here, I had taken a brief pause from paddling here on the stream. I will do my best to get caught up with those wonderful people that take the time to read my posts and leave thought provoking comments. You folks are the reason I continue to blog. I may have taken a repose from posting but not a single minute of my thoughts about our current place and time was pendent. There is so much to voice my concern/disguest with that I having trouble deciding what is most pressing. Maybe the hugh signal Russia(The new/old Russia) sent the US and the rest of the world that "their back". They are angry with us for putting a missle "defence" system in their back yard, Poland, as they rightfully should be. We were the agressor first. I think we once got a little hot under the collar when Russia tried the same in Cuba! Seems like Bush forgot about his little weekend get together with Putin in Maine last summer when he told everyone in a press confrence,
"I have looked into the eyes of this man(Putin) and I see a man I can trust"! Now, dont get me wrong, Russia is fully aware that the statement that they were making when the invaded Georgia was that they no longer fear the US or it's allies. Not that they ever really did. They know we were powerless to stop because we are stretched to our limits militarily and our economy is no longer strong enough to threaten embargos or other sanctions for that matter. I'm now a bit concerned that the next war with them wont be so "Cold". Now, on to my utter distain for Big Oil. You all have noticed that the price at the pumps have fallen a little lately well don't be fooled(we give them reason to belive that we are with our actions)The price is not going to go much lower and it will again begin rise. This is all part of their scam. OPEC will begin to cut production and we will see more "routine" shut downs of refineries here in the US by EXXON/MOBIL for maintence, upgrades, or like the fake concern for tropical storm Fay they used as reason to shut down their largest refinery located in Texas. Funny that Nuclear power plant located near bye wasn't concerned. The realistate meltdown is not done melting and I am watching intently to see if our gov uses our tax dollars to bailout their friends Freddy and Fanny. Now, what can I say about the elections......you are going here much more about that subject from me in my next post. But, I will mention how far of path "We the people" have been led astray. Does anyone remember that there is supposed to be, with very good cause, a seperation of church and state? THEN WHY DID THE FIRST PUBLIC FORUM INVOLVING BOTH CANIDATES REVOLVE SOLELY AROUND FAITH? Well, Barack agreed because he wants to set the record straight that he is not nor has he ever been a Muslim. If I were one of the millions of American citizens who just happened to be Muslim I would be hurt, insulted and down right peeved and would have just cause to be so! Maybe we need a Muslim President to make peace with the Billions of Muslims in the world hell bent on getting rid of us. I WILL REPEAT MYSELF, THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA REPRESENTS ALL AMERICANS EQUELLY AND THAT INCLUDES THE DOZENS OF DIFFERENT FAITHS THAT AMERICANS FOLLOW!
