"Around and around and around it goes, where it stops nobody knows" Exxon/Mobile once again posted record profits for the second quarter of this year totaling, 11.68 billion beating their previous record for all time American corp profits! That's 90,000 dollars in profit for every minute during that 3 months! This is again all while the rest of the market plummets. Jobless rates continue to rise and "we the people" are falling deeper into the abyss. A recent CNN poll shows how 75% of Americans believe in opening up the protected lands and offshore waters to drilling, proving that their not interested in saving the environment. "WE the people" only care about themselves and that is the "driving" force behind our demise! The two countries that are experiencing growth in their economies, are also our enemies, Russia and China. They are getting rich of our blood. I'm now more optimistic about China hosting the Olympics because by doing so they will show the world(regardless of the enormous attempt to hide it)the gravity of the pollution that their way of doing things is creating. The Chinese have gone to extraordinary lengths to try to keep "We the people" from seeing first hand the result of building 100s of coal burning power plants over the past few yrs and the plans to build over 100 more each yr.
