Those are the two possibilities of hope we can expect from the choices we are going to have to make this Nov. If John McCain gets elected there will be no hope.... if Barrack Obama gets the nod we will see little "change" and a slim hope for the future! Why? Because the needs(wants)of the few who wield power in government will still get preference over the needs of many. The severity of the perfect storm that is baring down on all of us is still not being taken seriously. We need someone who will make the decisions that are not necessarily going to be popular or favorable to a few, but will benefit us all in the long term. Right now the prospect of a "long term" future is bleak. We are going to have to suffer some unpleasantries and there is no way to circumvent that! The way I see it, better to suffer now under somewhat controlled conditions and survive these troubled and precarious times. You've heard the phrase, "surrender and live to fight another day". Well, If we truly want a future... then we need to find someone else to lead us there. We have never learned from our previous mistakes and now those mistakes have caught up with us. We were given the unique gift of "free will" and a brain that can reason and solve complex problems. Yet, we act on impulses that even primitive civilizations would have trouble understanding. That's because no intelligent life form will knowingly, willing and blindly stay the course, when the course obviously is leading to self destruction! Every other life form on this planet is effected by our actions. I will repeat a fact that SHOULD by it's self cause a reconstruction of our ways. Every day humans influences cause the extinction of nearly 200 species! Last year we exterminated, never will they grace this world again, over 50,000(FIFTY THOUSAND) of Gods(doesn't matter who you call God) creations. Does that have the same effect on you that it does on me? If it did you would stop and look around..... and then and only then would begin to see through the fog and gaze upon our lost humanity...maybe then we will abandon this well worn path of self-destruction.

We are all in big trouble, and he knows very little about the whole mess, As far as the Superstorm is concerned, its happening and will continue to happen, whatever we do, we have asked for it, by our thoughts, words and deeds.
I'm still very sure in my Mind, Body and spirit, that he will do everything in his power to unite America and the rest of the world to try to reduce the total effect of all that is taking place on this war and weather torn planet, when he is in the right place to do it.
We all agree the we live in a changing world. Let us be positive and believe "That every problem is an opportunity in disguise. This is our opportunity. Keep your pecker up. We will survive, and I hope to live to see it. Their Picture is on the front page of the Mag, with this caption "A Canarian in the White House" the first in the History of the USA and the Canery Islands. If all goes well, this will happen. M
Now that Obama has become the Democratic candidate, he is moving more toward the center of the political spectrum. He is doing that because that is where the most votes are, and he will need those votes to defeat McCain.
