ONE FINGER CAN CHANGE THE WORLD!
Back to Full Blog

The "power of organized people" can, should and I hold hope, WILL, overcome the strangle hold held on us by the "Power of organized money" That, up until now, power has led us to down the destructive path ways we now traverse. It MUST be unplugged, turned off and stripped of any battery power that could sustain it long enough to find a way to turn "itself" back on! It has never before been in the capability of the people to do such, even though we were given the right to utilize the capability, if and when is was to ever avail itself. ("Of the people, for the people, by the people"). It has and it's now time unleash it on the forces that have chocked our Politics, health care, energy, individual privacy and lives in general for too long! Time for a "Tap" dance at, or better yet, on their party. That tool at our disposal has been waiting for a time to show it's ultimate benefit. THE TIME IS RIGHT NOW! Never before in mankind's(mancruels) history has there been a moment that one could say, " I fear not for what tomorrow brings, but fear that tomorrow won't be brought." I have found one universal statement that encompasses the attitude of the individuals that make up the masses. The store clerk in New Brunswick, NJ, The gas station attendant in Emporia, Virgina, and the waitress in Warwick, RI are all examples of people, individuals citizens themselves, who feel powerless to make changes to the world at large, other than what they are to eat that day and the right to vote. (Force fed a choice between who will be the lesser of the Evils). That statement is, "What can I do......I'm only just one person?" What you can do and have always had the ability to do is CHANGE THE WORLD! And not just the one you can see from your kitchen window! We are all capable of feats that will shape the world and it's future. Gandhi, DeVinci, Alexander the great, Martin Luther King, Bill Gates, and Even Hitler and Osama Bin layin low Laden are examples of "just one Person." Look at the influences they have had. Now, just think for a moment how that collection of wires, plastic, micro chips and memory boards could have enhanced their power to the nth degree? You now wheeled that power with just a "tap" of your finger. To unleash it's force though it must be directed to do so..... So, direct it to tell every gas consuming human(that's all of us bye the way) you have on your e-mail to boycott EXXON-MOBIL for those short three days I mention in the previous post! Then sit back and watch and listen to how your new found power changes the future of "organized money" and "organized people" (to increase your sense of satisfaction use middle finger when hitting send)

Hello Joram, Thank you for your blog, as always you have hit the nail on the head. I agree with you, that the time has come for big changes in the way that we think and act.

I have become an avid reader of the Huffingtonpost online and the work of Robert Creamer, from which I've picked up a lot of useful info. I have also added a further couple of posts on my http://wordpress.com/mikeholistic site namely http://mikeforholism2008.wordpress.com/2008/05/07/what-is-holism-in- this-historic... and http://mikeforenvionmentalawareness.wordpress.com/it-seem-it-has-started/ I have also started to new Newsletter "Holism in 2008" if you would send me a private message with your e-mail address I will send you a copy when it comes out later this month, to which you could also contribute an article. I think that the above will be of interest to you. Keep up the good work.It seems that we are going to win in November, no more Bush or MacBush. Sincerely Mike Tenerife

NO PROBLEM! I actually made a decision many moons ago to stop acknowledging my birth day.. but the Mexicans had other plans... Imagine if no one new their actual age.. whould we act different ?and god forbid stop "acting our age" I think we remember our age so we know when we can start getting reimbursed for paying into social security all those years. But, seeing as though the social security system is now bankrupt, I guess its ok to forget the chronilogiacal age of ones self. By the way, When is your birthday? Thank you very very much though. It means a lot that you acknowledge it. joram

Joram:

One of the ways I am changing the world is to reduce my driving as much as possible by combining the separate trips I used to make into one trip.

Hi Joram,

I LOVED this post....you are absolutely right! One person can make a HUGE difference and the weird thing is, that's exactly what my post today is about but I wrote it before coming over here. We must still be Runningmates for the election!

Hello ^BELLE^, Thankyou soooooo much! I have only the hope that it "illuminates" the power we all have to change that which we are unhappy about. It is going to test the strength of unity and willingness of others to engage themselves in the hope of creating a better tomorrow. Hope and faith in others, Joram

Many elections in this country are won or lost by fewer than 100 votes -so if you don't vote -= don't complain about the result!!

Hello Joram, We have now passed the 20th. May and it looks good. I understand that one of the leaders in Barack Obama's campaign team has been asked to go to the Dem National HQ, to help to organize the campaign for the General Election, so they are starting, at long last to realize that B.H.O. will be the nominee, despite the fact that he is letting things run their full course, without declaring that he has won the nomination. He is truly a Man of peace, and does not want to divide the party any more than his two opponents have done already.

I think that the ex KKK and anti human rights activist, which he now regrets Robert Byrd, who has represented West Virginia, since 1959 and is now 90 years old, who has just endorsed B.H.O, got it right, when he said and I quote "Barack Obama is a noble-hearted patriot and humble Christan, and he has my full faith and support" coming from such a past controversial and changed person, it is indeed supportive.
of the young and so called inexperienced political leader, and the rest of the money and power inspired Washington crowd, could take notice of this if they, want to stay in Washington, doing any kind of work.

Have you managed to get a copy of the book "The Coming Global Superstorm" by Art Bell & Whitley Strieber, is is very important, (which was credited in the movie "The Day After Tomorrow") which in my humble opinion and that of many others, has been gradually creeping up on us for many, many years, and has been partly helped by global warming, I am sure the B.H.O. will also do what is needed to help to change events, in this respect. Keep up your inspiring work. Could you please let me have your e-mail address, you have got my e-mail info so that I can mail you a copy of my new Holisim Newsletter, Please Joram, I will keep it private. More Later, Sincerely, Mike Tenerife

Ice, so simple yet so important, in that form it protects our planet from overheating. Yet, as with holding a piece in your hand, it will not allow you to keep it there and will slip through your fingers no matter how tightly you grip it..........

I wish you luck with this, I really do. However, we attempted the same think here in Canada last year. We were all to boycott PetroCan, our largest gas company for one day. Flex our muscle. I must have been sent ten e-mails, personally.

The day came, I stayed clear of PetroCan but the TV newscrews were all out at the PetroCan pumps interviewing people buying gas. All of them claimed they knew nothing about a boycott.

The company reported its profit for the can a week later. It was up 2% over last year.

If there is a lesson to learn from us,it's that this isn't an easy thing to do and people are really going to have to work hard to make this happen!

Best Wishes!!

Thankyou for taking time to comment. Yes, I too am fully aware of the enormous power of apathy... last year I witnessed the same scenerio. Exxon-Mobil shutting refineries(claimes of routeen upgrades and maintinance) right before the busiest driving season of the year, there by artificially effecting supply vs demand and obviously costing all idividuals more to travel and live! I then sent out an e-mail requesting everyone to pass it on to ten of their closest friends and or family...to do the same. I don't think anyone(including my "friends") took action... Ignorance and apathy will be the straw that breaks the back of humanity and it's promise for a Future. Happy memorial day. Joram
