Humanity (hyu- man-i-te) humans considered as a group the human race. The condition or quality of being human, the quality of being humane; benevolence... its now or never. We must wake from this opiated trance we have created to protect our selves from the raw realities of life. The constant blending of Hollywood and other media feeding us images of real life horror and then screen depictions of similar acts.
The effect, a blurring/confusing of our minds with what is real and what was acting. That's when the deadly effect of numbness comes. Seeing the images of death, destruction and mayhem so often and from the earliest of our recollection, we begin to lack the "shock and horror" that is needed to mobilize ourselves to make the necessary changes!

I was no different, I too fell deep, but for some reason I have become immune to the numbing agent. It's if I have awakened from some long deep sleep, as Rumplestilzkin did, to find a world foreign to me. One that seems to be , as the great Inca king said, as he was about to be executed by the conquistadors, "Apacacotie" (which literally means world upside down).

It's impossible for me to fathom how one human being can do to another what is being done there. My wonder grows when, why are they showing anything else on the news but this? 400,000 brutaly murderd (killed in the most inhumane ways). 1,500,000 refugees, many more thousands dying from starvation and disease. Thousands of women raped repeatedly, usually in plain view of husbands and their children. This is an atrocity that we must band together and condemn!
Who are these Janjaweed? Why has so little been done to stop them? Where is the United nations, the world organization that is supposed to police this type of stuff?
ANOTHER SIGN THAT THE FOUR HORSEMAN OF THE APOCALYPES HAVE ARRIVED JUST A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE THEY COME TO A THEATER NEAR YOU!!! FOR YOU.................

What is it? Why can't humans get along? Is it a genetic flaw in us that says I won't or can't and that I must kill or be killed to ensure my views are the only views. It's bizarre.
The book; Lord of the flies is a good example of good verses evil. The instinctual desire to have unity and to conform, and the struggle with tyranny. Those who plunder for self gratification and self centered desires.
Think about something.... all the positive energy in this world is being wasted/expended on overcoming things that were created by negitive energy. We are not evolving as a species and definitely, not as a civilization! The word civil does not coincide with our current world. All the time, effort and money being donated today is for patching up the wounds of the world. Let me tell you that's all that's it is.. a patching. Putting a band aid on a severed limb.
Last year our world spent almost one trillion dollars on "defense", basically finding, attaining and using different ways to kill one another. What immense good could be done with that amount of funds? With that money alone, we could feed every person on earth a full meal so they wouldn't have to go to bed hungry. Then another full meal for breakfast so they could get up and be productive, most truly aspire to. What a dream to see the world with eyes not filled with tears of hunger.

The world will never really know the power of love untill we abandon our love of power.......There is a saying I fancy, "Give a starving man a fish, he will live for a day, teach a starving man to fish he will live a lifetime".
