Look around you they are everywhere. Stop, do not go, do not enter, speed limit, no j-walking, put garbage in proper receptical, not an exit, caution slippery when wet, form line here, not for public use, take a number and wait, no refunds, limit one per person and so on and so on....... There are other signs that are not as clearly marked but are even more important. The current collection of "natural" disasters, Severve weather in the form of hurricans, tornados, cyclones, heatwaves and blizzerds, Earth shaking events such as Earthquakes, sunamis, vocanic eruptioins, flooding and draught are all "signs". Signs of what we have done and a glimps into our future. These Signs are also being ignored and/or Dismissed as just a period of strong storms that will pass in time and everything will revert to "normal". Look just a little fraction deeper and you will see... These events are far from "normal" they are increasing in numbers and severity. How many times have we heard "worst on record, largest since record keeping began, most in 100 years, never before has there been so many......?" The SIGNS are everywhere, we all better start to heed them or face dire consequences. We can not afford to pay these fines! Here is a "sign of the Times" for you. The president of the United states of America, someone, you would assume, who has access to all the "real" data, would understand the problem. Yet, after his daughters wedding the only statement he made was that he hopes he will be given grandchildren....."soon and many" is how I think he worded it. The Earth is now trying to support 7 billion people on what scientists all say, are the resources that can handle no more than 3 billion people. We surpassed the "tipping point" and all though we have been warned and given many signs along the way of what was to be, we only pressed down harder on the accelerator. We are speeding through the red lights and it's just a matter of time before disaster arrives at an intersection just as we do....So, I say to you Mr President, "Sooner" would be a good thing because there is little hope for a later. And "many" is a good thing, for it will speed up the process, so then we will all not have "that" long to suffer...............

I would like somoene to illuminate for me how we are able to send a spacecraft 400,000,000 miles (four hundred million miles)into space, have it land on a percise spot on Mars, give it a wake up call each day, give it new tasks to perform that day and then have the information collected sent back to us. Yet, the simplest tasks needed to prevent the destruction of our eco-system and ward of our own extinction are deemed insermountable?????

First, Happy Memorial Day! And may the memory of the hundreds of millions who have died at the hands of fellow man strenghten our resolve to acheive peace for all peoples on this planet! Now, I don't know about you, But if I am forced to watch and listen to John McCain read from a tele-promter for the next 4 yrs im going to commit suicide sooner than I had anticipated! The man is too monotone, stiff and robotical to make anything he says believable. The least he could do is read the speach over once prior so he doesn't appear to be reading somthing he has never seen before. (which he is)............The next will be canned applause after a speaking point!

The "power of organized people" can, should and I hold hope, WILL, overcome the strangle hold held on us by the "Power of organized money" That, up untill now, power has led us to down the destructive path ways we now traverse. It MUST be unplugged, turned off and stripped of any battery power that could sustain it long enough to find a way to turn "itself" back on! It has never before been in the capability of the people to do such, even though we were given the right to utilize the capability, if and when is was to ever avail itself. ("Of the people, for the people, by the people"). It has and it's now time unleash it on the forces that have chocked our Politics, health care, energy, indivdual privacy and lives in general for too long! Time for a "Tap" dance at, or better yet, on thier party. That tool at our disposal has been waiting for a time to show it's ulimate benifit. THE TIME IS RIGHT NOW! Never before in mankinds(mancruels) history has there been a moment that one could say, " I fear not for what tomorrow brings, but fear that tomorrow won't be brought." I have found one universal statement that incompasses the attitude of the individuals that make up the masses. The store clerk in New Brunswick, NJ, The gas station attendant in Emporia, Virgina, and the waitress in Warwick, RI are all examples of people, indivduals citizens themselves, who feel powerless to make changes to the world at large, other than what they are to eat that day and the right to vote. (Force fed a choice between who will be the lesser of the Evils). That statement is, "What can I do......I'm only just one person?" What you can do and have always had the ability to do is CHANGE THE WORLD! And not just the one you can see from your kithchen window! We are all capable of feats that will shape the world and it's future. Gandi, DaVinci, Alexander the great, Martin Luther King, Bill Gates, and Even Hitler and Osama Bin lay'n low Ladden are examples of "just one Person." Look at the influences they have had. Now, just think for a moment how that collection of wires, plastic, micro chips and memory boards could have enhanced their power to the nth degree? You now wheeled that power with just a "tap" of your finger. To unleash it's force though it must be directed to do so..... So, direct it to tell every gas consuming human(thats all of us bye the way) you have on your e-mail to boycott EXXON-MOBIL for those short three days I mention in the previous post! Then sit back and watch and listen to how your new found power changes the future of "organized money" and "organized people" (to increase your sense of satisfaction use middle finger when hitting send)

When a very small, in stature not heart, group of colonists (some of those would later recieve the title of Founding Fathers. Samual Adams, John Hancock and Samual Quincy Adams) got fed up with the constint taxation by an oppressive and Powerful(the most powerful in the world at that time) British government. They banded together and decided it was time to take a stand. They, in a show of contempt and displeasure, poured a shipment of tea into the Boston harbour to let the British gov. know they were not going to take it anymore! We are all aware what that incedent ment in the birthing of our nation. Tyrants, monopolies, and bullies will only stop when confronted with enough resistence to alter their view. No longer seeing it to be profitable to continue those actions. All that was done without the power of the internet. Well, Today with the tool that we tap away at each day, we can send EXXON-MOBIL as clear, if not clearer, message. I am calling for a boycott of Exxon-Mobil gas stations for just three days over the Memorial Day Weekend. This is usually their biggest weekend of the year, all the schools are out and summer travel is now full on. They are gearing up by raising the price at the pumps to all time highs. Get ready the price of a Barrel of crude closed yesterdasy 5/5/08 at 122 dollars. Never in the history of man and it's addiction to Oil has it been this high! BOYCOTT THEM FOR 3 DAYS and we will send them a kick in the arse of around 1 billion dollars. Thats how much Profit they will make in that same three days if we do nothing! Pass this on to everyone who you have in your E-mail and if anyone other than me is fed up....it will be a historical statement! Wax on wax off....Exxon Ex off it can be that simple! UPDATE 5/22/08 The price for barrel has risen steadily, it now is at 133 dollars. Today "Big Oil" is due to face congress to give their explanation for the record prices....due we really believe that any thing will happen there that will lower prices? I don't! I know The lies they will tell to there buddies in congress. This little theater act has a very covert purpose, its to get congress to over rule enviornmental pertection laws that were put in place to prevent the destruction of what little wild space we have left. They will cry poor mouth and say the prices are due to low supplies. Giving creedence to their cafefully orcestrated demand to allow them to rape more of the Earths ecosystems in order to suck more oil for them to sell. First, they are intentionally reducing the refining of oil to drive demand/price up. Exxon-Mobil has ivested what would amount to about 1/2 of 1 % of their total income to green energy/renewable energy. Ya, thats the kinda company I want to support..what about you?
