A few years ago i took a trip to China and had an opportunity to see first hand the dawn of a new day. China, up until recently, has remained relatively quite on the world stage, Even though they have always been one of the top super powers. Both of ancient and modern times. For four thousand years China and its empire has stood steadfast, no other empire has had such a rein. They withstood the collapse of Communism in Russia and have kept a low profile relative to their impact on global politics and economics. But, that is all about to change or already has. The problems i have with them is they are all take and no give. The harm that they do the Environment in over fishing, whaling and global warming should not go unpunished. At least addressed. Currently, they have turned their backs on the Kyoto accord and have plans to construct over 60 new COAL burning power plants in 2007. They continue with sales of arms to Sudan in exchange for oil. Knowing quite well those arms are being used by the the Gov. and their henchmen the Janjaweed against the peoples of Darfur. The amount of goods we import form them has created a deficit that's growing unabated. There is absolutely no regulations or product safety standards required by the US on those products. The tainted pet food, toothpaste, and deaths from defective tires don't seem to be a calls for concern. Its crazy! Customs agents just made a large arrest of a group bringing in knock-offs to sell in NYC. 40 million dollars worth. They say that is just a drop in the bucket. Now, i am even more confused as to how a communist county that blaitently disrespects human rights and has no regard for the environment is allowed to host the Olympics?!?! JUNE 30th 2007- Well add seafood to the list of dangerous imports from china, lack of sanitation is given as the reason. Harmful(actually deadly) bacteria has been detected on several products from china-coincidence...... probably, but careful what you buy and where it comes from. What a change in just the last couple of years when it comes to food safety concerns. Spinach, onions, beef, peanutbutter, milk and pet food! The bio world is striking back. July 14 2007-Well, a Chinese company that makes dumplings to be shipped to the US has been found guilty of chopping up cardboard and adding to the dough. Yep, i said cardboard. I hope everyone that attends this summers Olympics, that will be held in china, get to enjoy a couple of them.

Im curious how everyone feels regarding who are the most dangerous groups on Earth? These groups all have the potential and capability to neg. effect life as we know it. Who do you think is the worst. Politicians, terrorists, church officials(incl. radical clerics), scientists, Big Oli, Rough Nations, mass media, the apathetic masses or the uneducated masses? Without the interference of science none of those other groups could threaten me with more than a big stick or a hard rock, both of which i have already been hit with and survived. Has somebody forgot to tell Vladimir Putin that they are no longer a communist country and that the Cold War is over! It appears that the only way Russia can survive economicly is to sell Arms, and the buyers are a very scary group.

Iran and President Ahmadinejad(Armegeddon) has just completed the final touches on a 700 billion dollar arms purchase from Russia. Russia has openly critisized and overetly ignores the recent security council resolution imposed on Iran for continuing there aggressive uranium enrichment program. That program I will remind everyone is to obtrain a Nuclear Bomb and fullfill his Fatah from Alah. That just happens to by erasing Isreal from the map! Remember he publicly stated his intentions! At the same time denying the Holocost ever happend!

Russia has also been filmed, by Amnesty International, delivering weapons to the gov.of Darfur and their henchmen the Jonajaweed. Helocopter gunships, artillery, and small arms all of which is in violation of another security council resolution. Russia ia a permenant member so they really have nothing to fear from that council. What really concerns me though is Russia is trying to regain as much of its past superpower status, while they are presently a mere shadow of themselves. They are willing to sell anything to anybody whos willing to pay! That my friends is the biggest threat. We all know Al-Qeada is doing everything they can to obtain the one weapon that will make 9/11 look like a park mugging......we shouldnt think for one second Russia wouldnt not only sell but be very happy if we were nuked!

Now, nobody has to remind China that they are communist. They too have been accused of ignoring The Security council and trading arms for oil to the Sudanese government. They both of course deny it. There has been talk that if they continue on that path that they risk some countries boycotting the Olympics. There has been some very harsh response by some athletes that feel that they should not be used as pawns. And that politics should not play a role in the games.

To them I say, it is unfortunate that in the present state of the world and the atrocities taking place it would effect them personally. But,if they could go and compete with a clear concious, knowing the host country is contributing to one of the worst cases of human extermination and rights violations thats ever taken place, then they have not been told what those games are all about. Someone should illuminate it for them.

Ok, now that i have your attention. I'm amazed, dismayed, horrified and embarrassed! What fools we must appear to the world. There is a belief in sociology, that if a group suffering from internal rest is threatened from an outside source, it will cause solidarity in that group. Why, is that the farthest thing from what is occurring? Maybe it only applies to adults...as i CLEARLY stated in my post "America caught in a Quagmire, we are no longer something to admire." It's a mute point at this time. The energy and focus should be on what we do today and tomorrow. Its like the fire company arguing about the cause of a fire while the fire rages on! Now, I will Illuminate. First, we already won that war! No debate! removal of Saddam and destroying his military was our first objection! Every time America wages war and wins(I think Vietnam was our first "loss") we don't take over the country and claim "To the victor goes the spoils" we give assistance to rebuild. Even if Halliburton is owned by our VP. No other country and at no time in history has anyone else done this........Good examples were Germany and Japan, both whom we helped become industrial superpowers. Do you think Hitler would have helped France rebuild and remain an independent country? I think not. May 8th 2007 The Iraqi parliament would like to take the summer off from all this stressful work creating a new Democracy and forming a new government. Building the infrastructure of a Country is exhausting ya know!!!!! I say we let them go and enjoy themselves. And while their on vacation and OUR troops our dying doing their work we permanently extend their little holiday and REPLACE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!July 14 2007- The Iraqi gov. has shortened their vacation from two months down to a month. They claim its too hot to work. Temps reach 130 in Baghdad during summer. The gov. is complaining they would have to work in the air-conditioned buildings while our troops wear heavy uniforms and carry 100 pounds while on patrol in the dusty heated streets that could be their final resting place!!!! NOW, Malaki your full of Malarkey! He says they don't need the US. Well since he speaks for all Iraq just as Bush does for America. We listen a get the hell out!
