One of my favorite movies of all time is a little known film staring Bert Lancaster as the CEO of an oil company that wants to build a refinery on the pristine cost of Scotland outside a sleepy little village filled with wonderful characters and i mean literally characters. It also stars Peter Rigert As the company rep sent to negotiate and purchase the property from the town. He ends falling in love with the people and slowly begins to see how beautiful the coast and surrounding hillsides really is and ends up stalling for time to come up with a way to kill the deal. Burt Lancaster is an eccentric billionaire who just so happens to be humbled by only one thing and that is what eventually saves the town. The aura bore ellis or northern lights. The movie is extremely funny and worth renting. Why, am i telling you this?? I don't know.......... just kidding. I just saw a news clip about The Donald(Donald Trump) and a new venture. It just so happens that its a piece of property on the coast and you guessed it in Scotland. Matter of fact if i didn't know i would swear its the same beach and shoreline! He intends to build the worlds largest and most lavish golf course and resort. But, he has some opposition from locals who could have been taken right from characters in the film. One farmer in particular who is going to give Donald a run for his money mirrors the the main character opposing the sale. A homeles man who lives on the beach and assumes the self appointed role of beach protecter. Unfortunately, as is only too true. Fiction is fiction and money is fact. So, even if the northern light shine brighter than ever.... golfers will be the only ones enjoying them.

I will premise this post by stating, "Of all pro sports baseball is my least favorite." The Players are overpaid, The season is way to long, the reg. season games lack luster, and i cant stand to watch 30 grown men standing around spitting all night. And finally, it took steroid induced power to elevate the excitement, without it baseball would be close to dead... Now, that said, i still am a sports fan in gen and i do follow baseball to some extent. Enough to be able to make the determination that George Steinbrenner has just made a major mistake by firing Joe Torre. This man has more integrity and class than most coaches/managers from any sport. He took a high priced bunch of Egos and found a way to make them work as a team and win and win he has.12 years in row they made it to the post season. No other team can boast that record. 4 world series title in his 12yr run. Post season/playoffs are influenced a lot by luck. When your in a best of 5 series it can go either way. Look at how poorly A-Rod, the way over paid highest contract in sports history player, plays in the post season..... New York is the best and the worst of markets and takes a special manager to keep the players focused, which he did for one reason, his players respected him.... George good luck finding a manager to fill those cleats....there awfully big!

And to institute new Government laying in its foundationon such principles. Declaration of Independence Can our government become any more destructive? IMPEACH NOW!

The word "Politics" literally means to comprimise. But when i look at politcs today here and in the world at large. The only "Comprimise" i see is to our Dignity,values,ethics and human rights!
