The circular motion of this issue is hard for me to understand, why has nothing changed? The race issue, also known by these terms. Racecard, the elephant in the room, affermitive action and so on...Lets look back in history and accept what has taken place. Those that wont accept the facts, Iranian pres. believes the Holocaust was a fake. There are those that don't want to bring up the ugly incidents in history, in fear they only fuel the hatred of today and those who are too ignorant to allow the past to be remembered and know that that was yesterday, today is a new day. Until we overcome the fear(remember-the only thing to fear is fear itself)the hate, and replace it with tolerance. And the ignorance with education. We will continue to waste time, energy, money and lives on an issue that does not belong in our family. I said family, because Black, white, yellow, brown, red etc,.we are from the same Genus, species and film(family). The past wasn't pretty, and today is still ugly but tomorrow, well, if you watch Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer, it can t reach you a lot. There's always tomorrow for dreams to come true. M. l. King, "i have a dream" Abe Lincoln "All men are created equal" Kennedy,"ask not what your country can do for you...."John Lennon,"Imagine" Gandi and so many other great visionaries all had their live snuffed out by Fear, Hatred and Ignorance!Enough is enough . The issue about racial divide is also media hyped. The Duke case was not a race issue, those players would have acted the same if the girls were white, whether or not anything took place. News flash April 11 2007 all charges dropped on three Duke students. They now need to file charges against the accuser(she has done this before) and Michael Nippon the DA that made a mockery out of the justice system. mainly to severe his political aspirations. Micheal Irving's recent comment,(same type that ended Howard Coseelis career) He said that Romeo, the QB for Dallas must have some black ancestors, Because he moves to smooth [[EMOTICON:STUNNED1] Feb 1st-Another big day in race elations.1st,senetor Biden was Quoted as saying of senator Obama and his recent entrance into the presidential race, he is articulate, well dressed and clean(worse things could be said of a person) he meant nothing like what the militant blacks think and swear he meant..... he is well spoken and does look pretty good in a suit and as far as the clean bit he meant that he is afresh face and has a very clean image not that he is cleanly as apposed to uncleanly. Imus in the morn. should be fired then hung for calling the Rutgers women's basketball team a bunch of "nappy haired Ho's" The Black militants that stormed the campus in outrage also rushed to judgement and should be flogged.2nd Wow two black coaches in the super bowl.... never before has there been even one, i guess they broke out in a big way. There are discrepancies in all facets of life when it comes to different races. White are not complaining that a majority of the athletes today are black, blacks are better athletes in some areas as there are white in certain areas. There are no or very few black swimmers(i heard its because they have denser bones and there for would be slower in water) There are to many marathon runners (winners i mean)that are black. The Jewish mothers condemn there sons and daughters to a life of books not balls. Very few Latins play sports other than soccer, but it was nice to see Jeff Garcia do so well in Philly this year after their star black QB went down... what I'm trying to say is no one is intentionally preventing anybody from being what or who they want to be, but if you want to twist every thing to explain why you have gotten somewhere or something, you probably never will.....Feb 1st, Usa Today, front page....Va. moves to apologize for slavery! Yes, as i was just saying, enough is enough Let me say once and for all. And i think i speak for most Americans here. As an "American" i would like to apologize for all that America has done to wrong a race, group, sex, etc. etc. Starting with the Indians whose land we took, and still occupy.(few more casinos they will buy it all back and kick our sorry asses out) To the Japanese Americans for rounding them up in there own homes and imprisoning them for "fear" they would not be patriotic. To peoples the world over that we have done wrong i apologize! NOW CAN WE MOVE FORWARD???? Look at the bright side if the horrors of slavery had happened, the "Afro-Americans" would be living in Africa, maybe even in Darfur, any idea what life would be like for you there.........
