WORDS are funny things, depending on who said them, how they are said, who they are said to, they can have a wide effect. Who decided the rules regarding words?
Why in dictionary are there words spelled with a silent letter? If it's silent and only going to confuse the word why have it there? Why is there a k in nife? Did you not just understand what I wrote, then why? It's like wearing invisible jewelry? Who decided you were going to drive on the parkway, but park in your driveway? Why menopause and menstruation and not womenapause and womenstration? Shouldn't after dark really be after light since it describes the time after the sun goes down.

Recently there have some instances were the "N" word has been causing quite a stir. Once again a clear example of who says it to whom its said.

In the last couple of years there have a lot of new words or words with new meaning. I can remember when FDR stood for Franklin D. Roosevelt, now its flight data recorder. Which is the black box that seems to be the only thing that survives an air crash. Why is the box red and why cant they build the planes out of it? New words like blogs, video stream, u- tube, my space, web cam, datamining, ied(improvised explosive device)doesn't seem to be all that improvised any more. Maybe its time to change to ied(intentional explosive device). Insurgency, pandemic, precipitous withdrawal of troops, bunker buster, homeland security, security council, terrorist threat level(which is currently elevated) anthrax, enemy combatant, hanging chads, shoe bomb, suicide granny, carbon foot print, carbon neutral, gps(global positioning system)which should be changed to wty(we track you), cyberspace, avian flu, pandemic, sky marshall(I recently met some up close and personal, ask if you want to hear), axis of evil, Muslim extremist, Amman, radical cleric, new world order,(by the way that's what is printed on every dollar bill since 1936 under the pyramid in Latin. And last but I'm sure not least, the damage that's being caused to humanity by "WORDS" it's the new meaning for wmd(words of mass destruction)......... APRIL 11 2007- Nappy haired Ho! Add that one to the list above. What was he thinking? Obviously he wasn't! Now I never really liked him to begin with but lets forget that and ask the networks(NBC) when are they going to forgo live for tape delay, so they can edit hateful, racist, ignorant, inflammatory and down right stupid spewings of idiots on our airways! Oh, for those who don't know who this bozo I'm talking about is.....IMUS from Imus in the morning.
